Back stage at Rogers Arena we create welcome walls for artists. This is a great way to show love to the performer and welcome them to Vancouver. Printed walls are over 15 feet wide of high-resolution, bold and visually striking graphics. Being the first thing the artist sees when entering the arena, they are a grand way to pay homage.
I begin by researching the artist and conceptualizing ideas for artwork that would compliment their tour art. It is important to the client to include the name of the city in most designs, and I like to play on the lyrics of popular song to create the message. When the design is approved I manage our printing partner for on time print and installation.
Outcome
The welcome walls are a huge success! Many artists love their wall so much they share the artwork on their social media for all the fans to see.
